Don’t let the rainy forecast keep you from coming out to run in the Diner Dash! It will be a great day for a run and you will be supporting a great cause.

Did you know nearly 2500 people a month get lunch at the Loaves & Fishes Dining Room? These are your neighbors, people you see in the grocery store, ride the bus with. For many of  us one medical or other financial crisis is all that is between us and the need to rely on places like Loaves & Fishes. Come on out. Volunteer, walk or run. It will be a great time and you will be supporting a great cause!

The race is this Saturday. We will be there to give out your bibs & chips starting at 7:30 AM. It is going be a great day for racing!! And, we will have beer at the party afterwards.

Thanks to some generous donors, this year the first female and male finishers will walk away with a little more cash in their pockets. The first across the line will be awarded $100. Have you signed up yet? You have to be in it to win it!

Registrations are rolling in for the next Diner Dash. It has been a great season for training, not too hot, a lot of overcast days. Sign up for the race and support our cause.

Get ready to race through the Elmwood Village on a beautiful Saturday in June.  We know not everyone can ride for Roswell, so lace up your sneakers and dash for the dining room. THe date is June 25 at 9:30. Start your day off with the race, and then shop at the farmer’s market and have lunch along the strip.

We had a great turn-out for the third annual Diner Dash this year. Thank you to all of our sponsors, to the runners and to the volunteers. The Buffalo Police Department was great, as usual, helping us manage the traffic and the drivers who were a bit frustrated. The neighbors cheering at the finish line were the best.

Check back soon for information about the 2011 race. It will be better than ever.

Packet, bib and chip pick-up is Friday starting at 4:30 at Lafayette Presbyterian Church. Enter through the Elmwood Avenue doors and head down the steps. The race should be great and fast this year. You still have time to register in person. When you do you have fun and support a great cause!
